Applecheek Farm
A few weeks before the snow had melted in March of 2010, I had arrived on Applecheek Farm.  Before the majority of the farming chores began, I was asked to re-build the farm’s website within just a few weeks. The goal was to create a website that highlighted their superior product list through words, videos and pictures, coupled with a progressive look that kept the essence of their family farm intact. The result was an increase in direct sales, social media integration and an attractive presentation that matched the farm’s quality in product.

Relly Bub Farm
The Relly Bub Farm website is a rapid prototype I have built for my small farm. My goal was to create a website that “felt close to home” using design methods that incorporate items you would find around the farmstead and solidify my professional approach through clean design and informative content. I was sure to incorporate direct access to social networks, online registrations for the CSA and our e-newsletter platform, allowing the general public to keep up to date with what is going on here at the farm.

Follow Nathan
After completing a 4,300 farm to farm tour of America, I decided to write a book called The Unconventional Harvest. Follownathan.org is a version one website built with the sole purpose of marketing my work aggressively and to allow viewers to connect with me on all of my social networks and share various media pieces such as videos, photos, press and book experts. This project will be overhauled this coming winter in 2013.

Greenopolis
Before the departure of my farm to farm journey across America, I was blessed to have created a mutual partnership between myself and the folks at Greenopolis. In return for their sponsorship I was diligent in my efforts to provide them with profound user generated content that left a lasting impact on their general audience and greatly increased their value as a new online entity. I was involved in all phases of the Greenopolis marketing and PR campaign “Recycle with Nathan”, from general blogging duties, social media strategy to graphic and web design.  Together we created a successful and meaningful grassroots social media campaign that made a difference in the world.

Fastpoint Games
Before I found my passion for agriculture and sustainable living, I lived in the big city of Los Angeles. During that time I worked for what is now Fast Point Games and what was Sports Composite DE. As a product manager my task was simple. I was to deliver a fantasy soccer application to a major media corporation in Porto Alegre, Brazil (Grupo RBS). Over the course of 9 months, I lead a team of engineers, marketers, developers and managed the client through the lifecycle of a product that rolled out to over 300,000 users in multiple languages. It was truly an amazing journey.

“Nathan brings a high degree of energy, social media expertise, and creativity to the table. Most recently, he was instrumental in conceiving and executing our Mashable award-nominated campaign for AARP. The campaign earned a great deal of media on social media and 'ecospheric' blogs; much of which was attributable to Nathan's networking and vision.

His passion and creativity make him a huge asset to digital deployments of all shapes and sizes.”

- Mike Popowski, President, Truth + Tribe, LLC

“Nathan is a man of vision with the skills and determination to follow through to make it a reality. He is passionate about life and people, technically savvy, and mission driven. I recommend him heartily.”

- Joe Laur, Sr. Manager for Community Engagement and Development at Greenopolis

“Nathan was one guy I could count on to get it done. He went above and beyond to the point of even learning a new language for one of our clients. I knew when Nathan was responsible for a project it would get done no matter what it took.”

- Scott Philp, SVP of Biz Dev / Marketing, Sports Composite DE

“Nathan has an unbridled level of enthusiasm and passion about his work. He possesses a unique skill set including web design, product development, client management and is the definition of a self-starter. He will always over-deliver. To top it off, he's a team player and an all-around good guy.”

- Chris Austin, Sr. Director of Marketing, Sports Composite DE

“Nathan is a self-starter with an infectious level of enthusiasm for whatever project he throws himself into. He has the skills and attention to detail to successfully manage projects from creative design and technical development to deployment and customer support. Nathan would be a welcome member of any team and a role model for other staff members.”

- Kenneth J. Hong, SVP Strategy, Sports Composite DE

“Nathan is an energetic and highly motivated individual. He has a great eye for product vision. His expertise in understanding user interfaces and user behavior lend themselves well to any customer facing product.
